The apartment sits on the fourth floor of Building 4 at The Hills Residence in Simpson Bay, and up to two guests can stay here.

A hillside address in Simpson Bay

The residence is located on a hill on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. From the condo’s windows you look across Simpson Bay lagoon.

Driving down, you reach Simpson Bay’s marinas, shops and restaurants within a few minutes. Princess Juliana International Airport is close, as are Maho beach and Simpson Bay beach.

Renting a car is the easiest way to manage daily outings from the hill. It also opens up the rest of the island, including Philipsburg, Marigot and the beaches of the French side.

Layout and equipment of D443

The condo is furnished and has one bedroom, one bathroom and a separate toilet. The bedroom is set apart from the living room, and there is no balcony.

• Kitchen with hob, hood, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher

You also have an iron and ironing board, a hair dryer, crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. Linen for the bed, towels for the bath and the beach, and bathroom essentials are included.

Parents travelling with a baby can request a cot along with a high chair. Access is through an electronic lock, and the condo has detectors for smoke and for carbon monoxide. Daylight comes in through the living room windows, which face the lagoon.

Pool and services at The Hills Residence

On the roof of the residence, a shared swimming pool looks over the lagoon, with sun loungers placed around it. It is open daily, 8 am to 8 pm. A common a lobby are also part of the shared facilities.

The buildings are served by an elevator, and private parking is available. Outdoor surveillance cameras cover the common areas.

The concierge team handles requests such as car rental, restaurant reservations, excursions and boat trips around the island. Contacting them before you travel gives them time to prepare.

Planning a stay of a few days or several weeks in D443

D443 suits couples and accommodates a maximum of two guests. Arrival is possible from 4 pm, and departure takes place by 11 am.

For longer stays, you can book a housekeeping visit partway through and additional towels. The kitchen and the washer-dryer make it easy to stay several weeks, and the condo works just as well for a short break.
