A101 is located at ground level in Building 1 of The Hills Residence, in Simpson Bay on Sint Maarten.

Staying in Simpson Bay keeps daily errands simple. Supermarkets are nearby, and so are the marinas, bars and restaurants of the area. Maho beach and Simpson Bay beach can both be reached in a few minutes by car, as can Princess Juliana International Airport.

Plan on a rental car if you want to tour the island. It lets you spend a day in Philipsburg on the boardwalk, then another in Marigot or on the beaches of the French side.

Inside A101 in Building 1

A101 looks over Simpson Bay lagoon and can host up to three people. Its main features are listed below.

• Separate bedroom with king-size bed, closet, hangers and curtains

• Living room with sofa bed for one extra guest, flat-screen TV and dining table

• Bathroom with shower and a separate toilet

• Furnished private garden terrace reached directly from the living room

• Washer-dryer combo, air conditioning and fast Wi-Fi

• Electronic lock, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors

Because the apartment is on the ground floor, the terrace is reached without climbing any steps. You can set the table outside for a meal or simply sit in the garden.

The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals: oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, and a hob with an extractor hood. An espresso machine sits alongside a kettle, a blender and a toaster. You will also find crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils, plus a set of glasses that includes wine and champagne glasses.

Bed linen is supplied, together with towels for the bathroom and the beach, a hair dryer and the usual bathroom essentials. An iron and an ironing board are provided too. If you are travelling with a baby, ask for the cot and the high chair.

Shared spaces of The Hills Residence

Up on the roof, the residence has a swimming pool that overlooks the lagoon. Sun loungers are arranged around it, and opening hours run from 8 am to 8 pm every day.

Cameras are installed outside around the buildings.

A concierge service can reserve a rental car or a restaurant table for you. It also organises excursions to other parts of Sint Maarten.

Planning a stay in A101

Guests check in from 4 pm and check out no later than 11 am. A101 takes a maximum of three guests, which works for a couple, two or three friends, or a small family.

For longer holidays, intermediate housekeeping and extra towels can be added during the stay. With the kitchen and the washer-dryer on hand, a stay of a few days or several weeks is easy to organise.

Ahead of your arrival, the team sends you directions to the residence and the access details for the apartment. The team welcomes you when you arrive and can be reached for the rest of your stay.
