The apartment is on the third floor of Building 3 at The Hills Residence, in Simpson Bay on the Dutch side of Sint Maarten. Two guests can stay, and the balcony, set up with outdoor furniture, looks over Simpson Bay lagoon.
Simpson Bay is a lively neighbourhood of the Dutch side. You will find restaurants and bars close to the residence, plus shops and several marinas by the water. Simpson Bay beach and Maho beach are each a few minutes away in the car.
The drive to Princess Juliana International Airport is just as short. The Hills Residence stands on a hill, so we recommend renting a car for groceries and daily outings.
Having a car also lets you explore the island at your own pace. Philipsburg lies in one direction, while Marigot and the beaches on the French side are reached in the other.

The bedroom is a separate room, away from the living area. The balcony is reached from the living room, and the end of the day is a good moment to sit out there and look across the water.
You can cook properly in the kitchen. It has an oven and a microwave, a hob under an extractor hood, a dishwasher and a refrigerator. Mornings are covered by the espresso machine, the toaster and the kettle, and there is a blender too.
Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are supplied. Glassware includes wine glasses and champagne glasses.
The condo is air-conditioned and connected to high-speed Wi-Fi, and for stays of several weeks the washer-dryer in the unit is useful. Bed linen is provided with bath towels and beach towels. Bathroom essentials, a hair dryer, an iron and an ironing board are also in place.
Travelling with a young child, you can use the baby cot and the high chair. The front door works with an electronic lock. Smoke detectors and a carbon monoxide detector are installed.
The swimming pool of The Hills Residence is on the rooftop and overlooks the lagoon. It is open from 8 am to 8 pm every day, with sun loungers placed around the water. Residents also share a common a lobby.
An elevator serves the buildings, and parking is private. Outdoor cameras cover the common areas.
The concierge team handles car rental and restaurant bookings. They also organise excursions and boat trips around the island, and contacting them before you travel gives them time to prepare.
Check-in opens at 4 pm. On departure day, you check out by 11 am. Since C336 takes no more than two guests, it suits a couple, and the on-site team of The Hills Residence can help with any request while you are here.
On a longer booking you can add intermediate housekeeping, and extra towels are available if you ask. With the full kitchen and the washer-dryer, keeping a normal home routine is easy.
