I loved staying at the hills the apartment we had was amazing with an amazing view and modern furniture and clean rooms. But the only down side that I think people should know for the future is its called the hills for a reason, each building is on a steep hill and you have to walk up the hill to get to each building. The first day the building managers brought us up with golf carts but for the rest of our stay we were on our own Unless you have a car or taxi you will have to walk up and down the hill to leave the premises and it is very steep the higher the building number. That was the only down side to staying here. I would come back but I will be prepared by having a taxi or car service come up the hill to do drop offs and pick ups. The area is also very convenient it is near a few lunges that are walking distance and food is also nearby which was great.

The Hills apartment B225 was a great place to stay for our week long visit to St. Maarten. The place was clean and looked just like the photos. The pool was nice and the staff was friendly. Location was great as it is walking distance to many popular Simpson Bay restaurants and bars, but also far enough that you won’t be unduly disturbed by the nightlife. There were a few downsides that weren’t deal breaking. First, the apartment is near the top of a steep hill; it’s a tough climb even for those in great shape. To The Hills credit, sometimes they did have staff on hand that would drive you up the hill to save yourself the workout. The other downside was that the fire alarm went in the middle of the night without warning. I read similar reviews about this. Lastly, the hot shower water gets to a great temp but runs out rather quickly. Despite these drawbacks, I was pleased with the stay. Great value compared to many other places in the area. I would stay with The Hills again.
