Check-in was easy and Jouvence was very pleasant and helpful during our tour. The place smelled like fabuloso when we arrived, a touch overwhelming but beats the alternative. The laundry detergent was empty and we were short on wash cloths but they brought some over pretty quickly. The beds were really firm, good for those that enjoy a firm bed, not so much for those with bad hips. The floors were hard to keep clean but we made use of the cleaning supplies provided. I personally could not figure out how to use the washer/dryer combo but my other two friends are tech savy lol. The location was awesome! Walkable to plenty of yummy restaurants, markets, the beach and lounges. The management team will call cabs for you when needed. Be sure to bring plenty of cash as that is the preferred method of payment pretty much everywhere. The pool was nice, although we never used it, we preferred to be out on the beach! I would recommend the hills and would definitely stay again!

Stayed here to celebrate my 22nd birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The place looked exactly like it did in the pictures and everyone was so friendly (sxm people in general are really friendly) definitely recommend and when i come back i will be staying again. The only downside was that the shower was impractical because it doesn’t close all the way lol. Also, with 3 bed, 2 bath we had to alternate showers to really have hot water.

100% recommend The Hills to anyone coming to St Maarten. This room reminds me of more of a condo rather than a hotel room. It’s centrally located and helped us saved alot in regards of traveling. My only issue were the ventilation but besides that, 10/10. Would definitely stay here again. I don’t believe the pictures do this room justice.

The hills is a new development, with pristine amenities, 2 Jacuzzis and a small pool on the top of the building. There is an elevator to get you from the covered parking lot to the apartment. It is not really architected for pedestrian, as the elevator doesn't go down to the street. So you end up walking on the access road to the parking lot, if you don't have a car. The staff is usually very friendly and Jouvence drove us up to the elevator. The apartment is very nice with a view of the lagoon side. 2 bedrooms have no windows to the outside while the main bedroom has a view on the lagoon. There were some quirks like empty shampoo/body wash in the shower that we were told were 'decorations' or the lack of broom/vacuum cleaner as there wasn't any room cleaning service while we were there - for 6 nights. We eventually got some shampoo/body wash samples. Overall it was a pleasurable experience.
